Drought

I am loving the drought. I know it will be aweful come the summer but now it is nice to play at the markets in the sunshine and not in the rain or wind. I remember one time I had a cheap start up tent and the wind and rain were so bad, even though it was tied to the car and had weights on all four legs it still blew up and over the car and all my scarves and hats went everywhere. So nice to have sunshine. In the 70's when there was the last drought for many years it actually snowed at the end of it in January. I remember having snow ball fights in Mt. View Ca, it hasn't snowed since and more than likely will not again. But who knows, weather is always wacky even with the most sophistication who really can predict so far ahead. I will be at an assisted living this week playing and have gotten all kinds of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Ella Fitzgerald and Patsy Cline. Should be fun have been singing Mack the Knife all week. The director said they like to dance, I even got Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B. That's a fun one, Andrews Sisters.

Bijan's Restaurant has asked me back for the third year in a row for their Valentines Day dinner night. That's awesome that they have been getting good reviews and the customers are happy. I enjoy playing there and they feed me some delicious persian food and divine persian tea.
